What can TVPC do?
TVPC comes in two versions either using Intel
or AMD cpu's. The choice is yours. MP3: What a perfect duo! TVPC and MP3. . TVPC connects to the web throughcable,
DSL or analog. It is connected to your killer sound system. So download music
and play it directly to your power amp and floor standing speakers. Burn a CD
if you want. Transfer the songs to Rio or another portable player through the
front USB port. Store up to 30GB's of music that can be cataloged easily using
CouchClick's TVMP3 player. Awesome!
Killer Games: As we have made clear, TVPC will play just about any game
designed for a PC, but TVPC connects to your TV and surround sound system.
Best of all, you can play those new cool on-line games in style. Imagine
playing Half-Life online through a 60" big screen, or a flat plasma
display. TVPC contains the latest 3D graphics technology so no problems
with rendering the most spectacular game environments. Forget the Xbox;
think out-of-box.
DVD: Of course as TVPC connects to your TV and surround sound system you
will want to watch movies and listen to music. TVPC contains a DVD player
with all the latest outputs, optical, S-video and RCA. Best of all TVPC
will play any region DVD without any modification whatsoever.
Simple is better.
TVPC may sound complicated. It isn't. TVPC
connects to your TV and hi-fi the way a VCR
or any other piece of audio component equipment
does. Secondly, TVPC uses standard connections
such as RCA, S-Video, and RCA Component video
outputs. TVPC uses AGP video cards in the
AGP slot (not shown), with a minimum of 64
MB of VRAM, with your choice of a maximum
256 MB of VRAM to complete these connections.
Finally with CouchClick™ software and
its friendly user interface, TVPC not only
makes software programs easier to view on
a TV, but it also includes support for all
the main functions such as DVD, MP3, Power
On/Off, Favorites, and the Web.
TVPC uses Windows.

that all major software packages will run

TVPC is able to cleanly display images on
a television when the supplied DVI-A is used.
Or connect directly to your HDTV, DLP or
LCD TV or projector. You can also use a standard
RCA RGB out adapter (not supplied) to connect
to a standard TV. TVPC takes the advantages
of the PC platform in other ways too, by
basing major features around large storage
capability, the ability to handle a variety
of tasks at one time and the availability
of a huge array of software. We package TVPC
in such a way so as to make the whole user
experience work around your family and your
family room.
TVPC Supports the latest Digital Devices and IPTV
TVPC is also your digital media center, with
its 7-in-1 Media card reader, DVI output,
SPDIF input/outputs, DVD ROM and DVD Record
drives.
Surround Sound
TVPC is compatible with the latest surround sound decoders for DVD, such
as DTS, ASP, etc. Nothing is lost. TVPC includes the latest optical outputs
for the cleanest sound possible. TVPC also includes Digital Outputs.
802.11g WLAN
TVPC is equipped with 802.11g WLAN. It offers
wireless transmission over relatively short
distances at up to 54Mbps. The 11g WLAN is
compatible with 11b products, so both 11b
and 11g clients can reside on the same network.
This flexibility preserves your network investment
and allows you to upgrade or scale your network
according to your budget and time frame.
Kids titles
Most kids titles, Disney, Living Books etc look fabulous on a TV. What's more you can now interact with them in a far more comfortable environment than the den…The Couch! With TVPC's CouchClick™ Software, most software that would run on a regular old PC will run on TVPC and look great too.
Cruise the Web
It goes without saying that TVPC will surf the web. No big deal, right? Except unlike many devices out there, some from respected companies as diverse as Compaq, 3Com, AOL etc, TVPC will always support the latest web technologies such as Java, Real Video, etc, because we use Microsoft's Internet Explorer as our browser. Except we have "TV'ised" it. So you can download any plug-in you like, such as Shockwave and can be rest assured it will run on TVPC.
Download files
Any computer can download files and store them on a hard drive. TVPC can too. Which means you can grab a game of the net, install it and have it running on your Big Screen without having to leave your easy chair. Those so-called set-top boxes can't do that! Neither of course can Playstation or Xbox.
7-in-1 Card Reader
TVPC is equipped with a 7-in-1 card reader.
It supports CF, MS, SmartMedia, SD, MMC,
MS-Pro and MicroDrive. You can easily read
photos or other files on the memory card.
